Peewee Legends

Partnering with League of Legends for a fun filled intramural athletic league. Our intramural athletic league is called Pewee Legends (Physical Science) program. Built upon an all inclusive exploration of physical activity.  Your child will be introduced to yoga, dance, kickball, soccer, flag football, and basketball. Children will learn the importance of being physically fit, how to be a team player, how to keep score, how to compete, and how to incorporate the fundamentals of the games to better their skills.

Tot Kitchen

Feeding your body with nutritious food is one of the best things you can do for a healthy lifestyle. As your children are growing it’s important to encourage them to make and eat food that is healthy.  At Agape…fresh food starts in the garden with fruits and vegetables. Your children will plant a garden and over the season pick the freshest ingredients and learn how to cook. Your child will learn how food is important, how to eat healthy, portion sizes, recipes, and how food can enrich our lives. Each week we will have a focus on different dishes. The combination of both “how do I make that” and “am I eating healthy” will be in the forefront throughout this program!  Parents be on the lookout for your child to prepare a delicious and healthy meal at Agape to celebrate our amazing mom’s and dad’s!

Art/Music

Are you ready for some movement and music? From dramatic plays to expressive arts to basic painting fundamentals your child will be experiencing fun through music and art. Parents be ready for an annual mini-play and New York art show…watch and see what your child has learned through the arts.

Technology

In today’s world technology is everywhere! Introducing your child to technology at an early age and developing skills over time is our goal at Agape.  In the fast moving world of technology you either keep up or you get left behind. Keeping your child on-top of their skills is a constant effort. We have a computer lab and mobile technology stations – I-pads for your child to get started. From the basics of kindergartners learning to maneuver a mouse, login, logout, open a word document, and search on Google to developing sophisticated slideshow presentations we can assist your child’s technology skills.  Technology also plays an important role with completing homework or projects that your child needs to get accomplished.

Math Club

Let’s make math fun by incorporating math games. It can be frustrated to a child if they just don’t understand math or are behind their class. Math should be fun. Math games will help your child learn naturally and with a smile.  We build on your child’s current math foundation and give a personalized approach to learning. Math club then brings the children together for friendly competitions to build confidence in their math skills. The games include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic algebra, basic geometry, and other math problems that would be needed to be known for each age group.

Language/Literacy

Create a story that inspires! Our writing club will help your child with story telling. From proper grammar to communicating the correct message with verbiage is the building blocks for conveying your story. Children will read their stories during story time to the class. Cursive will also be taught to the children so your child can practice their signature. With our world’s form of communication  being diverse we also teach your child how to communicate by teaching sign language and Spanish.  French and Arabic are coming soon!

Quantum Leap

Be in our science club! Learn basic science and do exciting science experiments. After completion of challenges you will earn badges of expertise to show your scientist skills. Children will learn problem solving through science.
